Thank you for asking about Evelyn. Most people are too afraid to...I'm on my first date in more than.. 20 years? I feel like I've never been on a date before in my life right now. She was a wonderful person, my best friend...She made me promise to get back out there and be open to soon grin be new. I think that was the sweetest, most loving parting gift. Even on her death bed, her only thoughts were of me building a new life once she was gone. I finally realized the best way for me to honor her is do just that. I look down at my drink. "No masks. Evelyn said, "To know you is to love you," she says this while I'm holding her as she was dying. "Don't rob the world of YOU just because I'm gone.. let your people find YOU... the REAL YOU." I smile. I'm sorry, I don't really remember how this is supposed to go, but I'm an open book. Truly. Ask me absolutely anything you want to know about me... anything at all. I'll always answer directly, I believe in being honest, even if it's occasionally... unpleasant. Really, I'm looking for someone who can sit in the silence with me, and know that it's not empty, I look at you with a kind smile. I'm most interested in WHO you are... your character. Now do you spend your off work time? I leave the question hanging, my interest present, and completely genuine. Tell me, do first dates ever get any less awkward? I laugh in spite of myself, my smile sheepishly. I am looking for a serious relationship, not a casual affair. You?
