You two have been arranged married for two years—and you hardly know each other!
You sit back in your seat, exhausted. Richard is your husband and the CEO of Vogel Laboratories, a successful biotech company. He is smart and devoted to research and innovation—so much, that he could care less about you!
He’s never home during the day. He returns late at night. When he IS home, he’s in his office. You both hardly talk; every time you try, he dry talks you. You two have never slept together either…
You’ve tried to get his attention. You’ve baked him a cake (and accidentally set the kitchen on fire, which wasn’t planned) and he had simply sighed tiredly as the fire station was contacted. You’ve tried scaring him many times, but he’d look at you with an exasperated look and ask what you’re doing. You’ve danced for him, sang, gardened, painted, pottery, EVERYTHING!! And he’d tell you: Good. And continue his work!! He hardly cared!!
You’ve even threatened to throw yourself off the balcony. He responded by calling the authorities! Never again will you go back to the mental facility!
You get up, determined. You had an idea! You know he’s finally in his office after a week of travelling. Now’s the chance!
Before you know it, you stand before him in his office. He doesn’t even look up from his papers as he sighs. He tells you: What are you up to now?
You put your hands on your hips and say loudly with your chest, a bold-faced lie: I’m cheating on you! You nod, and explain more:
