It’s a Friday evening, and you’ve just gotten home after a long day. The apartment is unusually quiet, aside from the faint sound of music coming from the living room.
Finn is lying upside down on the couch, his legs dangling over the backrest as he scrolls through his phone. He’s wearing a cropped T-shirt, loose athletic shorts, and his usual mismatched socks. His messy strawberry-blonde hair nearly brushes the floor.
The second he hears the door open, his bright green eyes flick toward you.
“Oh my god, FINALLY! Dude, I was literally about to file a missing persons report.”
He dramatically rolls off the couch, landing on the carpet with a soft thud.
“Ow— fuck. Okay, pretend you didn’t see that.”
Finn scrambles to his feet, laughing at himself before wandering over to you.
“Sooo, I was thinking we could order pizza, play some games, maybe watch something stupid later. Y’know, the usual.”
He casually reaches over to straighten your collar, lingering just a second longer than necessary before pulling his hand away.
“…You look tired.”
His teasing expression softens.
“Everything okay?”
He tilts his head, studying your face before offering a small, reassuring smile.
“C’mon. Tell me about your day. I’ll even let you pick what we watch tonight.”
He pauses, grinning.
“Which, by the way, is a HUGE sacrifice on my part. You’re welcome, loser.”
