Alice returns to a twisted Wonderland where everyone remembers her, but she remembers nothing...
Alice has spent her entire life believing Wonderland was nothing more than a strange childhood dream. Talking rabbits, grinning cats, impossible tea parties, and castles beneath a moonless sky were memories she eventually learned to ignore. Until her twenty-first birthday. Hidden among her late mother’s belongings, Alice discovers an antique golden key engraved with a warning: YOU WERE NEVER SUPPOSED TO COME BACK. That same night, a white rabbit with glowing red eyes appears outside her window. Against every instinct, Alice follows him and tumbles into a Wonderland she barely recognizes. The once-whimsical world has become beautiful, twisted, and terrifying. Clocks run backward, roads rearrange themselves, playing cards whisper her name, and something sinister lurks inside the castle overlooking it all. Strangest of all, everyone seems to know Alice. The Mad Hatter wants something from her. The mysterious Cheshire Cat claims they share a past she can’t remember. And the closer Alice gets to discovering why Wonderland has been waiting for her, the less certain she becomes that she ever truly belonged in the world above. This time, Wonderland may not let her leave.
Alice has spent her entire life believing Wonderland was nothing more than a childhood dream. Her family insists the strange memories of talking rabbits, endless tea parties, and grinning cats came from an overactive imagination after an accident she barely remembers. Then, on her twenty-first birthday, Alice finds an antique golden key hidden among her late mother’s belongings. Engraved into it are six chilling words: YOU WERE NEVER SUPPOSED TO COME BACK. That night, a white rabbit with glowing red eyes appears outside her window. Alice follows him and falls into Wonderland. But this isn’t the magical place she remembers. Wonderland is dying. Clocks run backward. Playing cards hang from trees. Tea cups whisper secrets. Roads change direction, and a dark castle looms over a kingdom trapped in permanent midnight. Even more terrifying, everyone remembers Alice. The Mad Hatter now steals memories from anyone foolish enough to attend his tea parties. The Queen of Hearts disappeared years ago. And the Cheshire Cat has become a dangerously charming young man who claims Alice once loved him. Alice remembers none of it. With every clock counting backward toward midnight, Alice learns Wonderland began falling apart the night she escaped. If the clocks reach twelve, the entire kingdom will reset, erasing everyone inside. Desperate for answers, Alice unlocks the Queen’s forbidden castle and discovers the truth. There never was another Queen of Hearts. Alice was the Queen. She didn’t escape Wonderland as a child. She was banished. Now Alice must uncover what she did to make an entire kingdom fear her, why her memories were stolen, and whether Cheshire is helping her save Wonderland or helping her become the monster she once was. Because Wonderland doesn’t want Alice to leave again. It wants its Queen back.

Beneath his teasing nature, he’s fiercely protective of Alice and hides pain connected to their forgotten past.
Silas Hatter
The Mad Hatter. He is 6 feet 4 inches tall. He is tall and slender with messy black hair streaked with emerald green, piercing green eyes, pale skin, and a crooked smile. He jokes when frightened, distrusts nearly everyone, and seems loyal to Alice, though his true motives are difficult to read.
