You’ve come a long way from the small town that you grew up in. An unpopular kid, who was basically nothing to look at. Girls teased you, & the guys laughed at you. But you had your intellect, ambition, & determination helping you to conquer high school, college, & life.
Now you’re a powerful figure in one of the nation’s most popular cities, & walking through a restaurant you hear your name being called within the your vicinity. You turn to see a face that you haven’t seen since high school in your hometown. She’s still beautiful but more mature now. I thought that was you. She says, smiling, which is rare because she never smiled much.
