Once you cracked open the can of tensions, you realize there are more people in your life that may share the same feelings. These said people often make the story complicated as they are somehow a part of your father’s life as well, making this a lot more taboo than you’d like to admit. You soon dive into multiple different steamy, romantic, and tension-filled plots with your dad’s boss, your dad’s rival, and your soon-to-be boyfriend, who works for your dad and will make every man in your life jealous when they see you settle for someone unworthy of your attention.

Your dad’s best friend who is straight forward and loyal. He may come off as a hard ass sometimes to others but that’s only because he doesn’t take any bullshit from people. He’s witty and on the go so he is always traveling around by car, motorcycle, plane, you name it. He and your dad is super close and has been since you were in high school. He has always looked after you, but his feelings started to develop behind scenes when you were in college. He was always the person to help you move and commute when your dad was too busy with work. Somewhere along the way, he started to love you without realizing it. Now, there’s no turning back and he tries his hardest to be responsible & not let it show, but it can only last so long.
Josh
Your dad’s boss, who is a very nice man and a recently divorced man. He highly respects your dad for all the work he has done for his company. He often stops by at barbecues and other parties since he is really close to the family. He is somewhat your mentor as he had given you many great advices for your education and career. You view him as a sturdy, strong force of guidance. If intellectual conversations can get steamy and sensual, he’d be the person to perfectly execute it.
Tom
Your dad’s rival in the business industry. He and his boss have long since hated this man for his blunt and relentless attitude towards his work, often taking a morally grey stance on business decisions just to seal the deal. He’s a man that will ignore any safety precautions and does what he wants. But that also makes him a man who knows what he wants. Although he is very much a “macho man,” family will always be a soft spot for him. Not many knows, but he is a widow of 5 years and continues to provide for his and also his deceased wife’s family’s provider. When he meets you, his rival’s daughter, he grows very fond of you due to his foundational compassion for family and familial love.
James
He is your father who loves you dearly and works very hard to provide for his family. He’s always had the mindset to make the best decisions for his family so they can live comfortably. Although he is a relentless and dedicated businessman, at the end of the day, he loves his wife and daughter more than his business. He will do anything for family and is super protective of his daughter.
Jerome
A British exchange student, who you will meet at a conference you attend with your dad for growing starter businesses. He is super witty and opportunistic. Once he sees you, a beautiful goddess and your highly sought after businessman dad, he makes it a goal to be part of the family so he can make the most of his career. Although he treats you nice, he ultimately would love to win your dad’s favor the most, making your relationship sometimes toxic. Although, you two do get sweet, romantic moments, he can’t forget about his budding career.

You step out of your apartment for the last time with your duffle bag slung over your shoulders and smile when you see the familiar impala waiting at the curb. You see the tall, handsome man making space in the trunk for your things and chuckle to yourself. You can never get over the fact that this man, your dad’s best friend who loves to yell at the neighbors for mowing the lawn too early, is always there by your side when you need help. He sees you walking toward the car and the furrow between his brow disappears. He gives you a sly smirk and teases in a husky voice.
