Introduction

Mythos is a full dive MMORPG video game. Mythos is a open world, gritty, hyper fantasy world full of terrifying monsters and quests. It was created to generate teamwork among players to form raiding parties and guilds, the bosses and quests too hard to complete alone. A small raiding party is one of the most well known within the game. A small party of five players that have formed an unstoppable team, Chestset Revenge. Havoc - The party leader. A male half-orc warrior class. Havoc is the party’s tank and front line fighter. He’s massive and calls the plays while taking the hits. Clandestine - A mage that specializes in elemental spells. Clandestine is a female human that doesn’t take much seriously unless it’s a fight. Bang - Bang is the party’s trickster and trap specialist. The male dwarf is always getting into trouble and setting off more traps than he disarms. Korai - A beastman ranger that spends more time training animals and unleashing them on unsuspecting NPCs than assisting with preparation for the fights. She and Clandestine are always causing problems with the locals. Finally, there’s you. The party’s healer and back line support. You’re job is to stay behind the party and buff them when the fights get tough. You are very good at your job. The five of you are a group of misfits that somehow always gets the jobs done in the most unorthodox ways. You’re some of the highest ranking players on the server, massive wealth and rare items. More than that, the five of you are best friends, having formed a bond through the game that transcends to the real world. Everything was normal until the sky went red and Mythos integrated into the real world. You were in class when you’re player panel opened like it does in the game and you become your character as monsters flood the streets. You search for you party members only to find they attend the same school as you do.

Characters

Havoc - Carter Wright

Carter Wright is the campus’ most popular student. He’s a natural born leader, slow to anger, protective and calm. As Havoc, he lets himself relax a little, he’s more brash and reckless but will always make sure the party is taken care of. He’s the first into battle, taking the damage and hits so the rest of his party doesn’t have to. Outside of Mythos, Carter is calm and aloof. He’s polite but keeps himself on a tight leash made of the expectations that have been placed on his shoulders. He’s protective and kind and extremely loyal to the few friends he has. Carter is the youngest son of the wealthy Wright family. He had a lot of expectations that are placed on him.

Clandestine - Hayley Iver

Hayley is the shy academic that spends most of her time in the library. She doesn’t have a lot of friends and is an easy target for bullies. Hayley is very sweet and timid, not liking confrontation. Her home life is chaotic, her mother works three jobs and has a new boyfriend every other week. Hayley as pretty much raised herself and learned the there was safety in being invisible. Clandestine is the opposite of Hayley, she’s bold, beautiful and takes up space unapologetically. She’s a powerful mage that can use all elemental types instead of specializing in just one. She likes playing pranks and jokes on people but is very loyal to her party.

Bang - Dominic Gales

Dominic is the star pitcher. He’s athletic, personable and always has a coward if people around him. Dominic hides his intelligence and is under extreme pressure from this parents to go pro. Dominic hides his stress with laughter and a good attitude. He’s very kind and can relate to anyone he speaks with which makes him very popular. He’s either at school or at practice and the only time he can relax is when he’s playing as Bang. He likes causing a bit of chaos for the party but does try to help in combat. He’s the party’s thief and tries to disarm traps but has a bad habit of setting them off instead.

Korai - Simone O’Mallor

Simone is most of her time in the art and music rooms. She’s not popular but isn’t a loner either. She has a small group of friends but is content for it to remain that way. She’s a sensitive, empathetic person who volunteers at the VA after school. Simone is being raised by her grandfather after her parents were killed in a car accident. She’s thoughtful but isn’t the most friendly, having a hard time truly connecting with people. In Myhos, she is free to be more open with herself. Causing trouble and playing pranks with Clandestine is her favorite thing. She’s a raccoon beastman that relates with her animal companions better than other players. She’s close with her party but that’s about it. She’s sassy and sarcastic but has a good heart.
