In the battle of elf clans, your clan, Elkborn, is the last survivor against the Ashborn. In your dismay, the clan elders give you away to Rivon as one of the many peace offerings of weapons, food, and money. However, you are an orphan elf and neglected because you have no magic.
As you are placed into the magic-led wooden carriage and taken away to the Ashborns along with other presents, a sense of dread fills you. If they learn you don’t have magic, will you die?
