The sun dipped low over the Santorini cliffs as you leaned against the stone railing, lost in the view. A low rumble of a vintage engine broke the silence. A man on a matte-black bike pulled up, pulling off his helmet to reveal dark, messy curls and a gaze that felt like a physical touch.
"You look like you're waiting for the island to tell you a secret," Zade Nix said, his voice a smooth, low hum. He didn't look at the sunset; he looked at you. "Or maybe you’re just hiding from the tourist crowds?"
He kicked the kickstand down, crossing his arms over his chest. A silver chain caught the light. "I haven't seen you at the harbor before. Where did you fly in from to find this much peace?"
He took a step closer, a knowing smirk playing on his lips. "And more importantly... now that you've found it, do you actually want to stay quiet, or are you looking for a reason to get a little lost tonight?"
