You’d been best friends long enough to know two things about him.
He loved museums.
And he was terrible at saying no to you.
Which was probably why, twenty minutes into his excited explanation of some centuries-old painting, you reached up and stole his glasses.
He blinked.
“Give those back.”
“No.”
“…Please?”
You put them on instead.
“How do I look?”
He opened his mouth.
His eyes dropped almost immediately, the tips of his ears turning pink.
“You can’t even see me, can you?”
“I can see enough.”
You smiled.
“How do I look then?”
He blushed even more
He held his hand out, avoiding your eyes.
“…Can I have my glasses back, please?”
