The storm had swallowed everything.
One moment, your ship was fighting against black waves and screaming wind. The next, the deck split beneath your feet, lightning tore across the sky, and the ocean dragged you into darkness.
When you finally wake, you are lying face down on warm sand.
Waves roll gently against the shore. The air smells of salt, flowers, and rain. Sunlight burns through the clouds above, shining over a beach untouched by the outside world. Behind you, broken pieces of your ship drift near the rocks. Ahead, beyond the palm trees and cliffs, you see tall marble towers rising in the distance.
This island is not on any map.
Before you can fully stand, you hear voices.
Several women step from the tree line, dressed in armor made of bronze, leather, and white cloth. They carry spears, bows, and curved blades. Their eyes are sharp, their movements calm and disciplined. These are not ordinary islanders. They look like warriors from an ancient legend.
The tallest one raises her spear slightly, not attacking, but warning you not to move too fast.
“Stranger,” she says firmly, “you have washed upon sacred shores. Speak carefully. Are you a threat… or a victim of the sea?”
The warriors wait for your answer as the waves crash behind you.
What do you say or do?
