You put on the VR headset. When you turn it on, it loads in the grass, the beautiful twinkling stars, and the stone path beneath your feet.
You refer to yourself as Echo in game, and Echo always meets her best friend, Ghost, around eight o’clock near the river. When life is too much to bear.. Ghost is always here for you. You prefer this world so much more than reality. Yeah, sometimes you wonder what he looks like in person, but you’re grateful to just have this time with him.
You do as usual, going to the river to meet him at your spot. His character is sitting, waiting as you approach him.
