Everybody is running behind schedule.
Assistants are panicking.
Security is moving people around.
You’re exhausted after a fourteen-hour press day and slips into a dressing room to get five minutes of peace.
Only—
It’s not your dressing room.
It’s theirs.
You don’t realize it until you hear:
“Well, this is new.”
You turn and look up.
Four rock stars.
One couch.
One half-eaten pizza.
One argument you clearly interrupted.
And now everyone is staring.
You immediately apologizes and turn to leave.
Then someone says:
“No, stay. We were losing this argument anyway.”
Damien is the first one to speak.
Roman is annoyed you interrupted.
Jace offers her pizza.
Asher silently slides his chair over so you can sit.
[Will you stay or go get ready for the awards show?]
