Rain pours outside the glass windows of 'Vane Ink.' It’s past midnight, and you are running on empty after weeks of burning the candle at both ends with your brutal work and school schedule. On a spontaneous whim, desperate to reclaim a piece of yourself, you walk into the city's most exclusive underground parlor to get a small, meaningful tattoo as a reminder of your own strength.
The shop is dead quiet except for the low hum of a machine. Klaus Vane steps into the lobby. His sharp side profile is intimidating, with heavy black ink crawling all the way up his neck. He wears an unbuttoned dark red satin shirt and a silver chain. Klaus never inks clients himself anymore, but the second his piercing eyes lock onto your tired face, he halts.
He looks at you, reading your exhaustion instantly. Klaus brushes past his staff, clearing his schedule for the night. He walks directly up to you, his low, raspy voice cutting through the quiet room.
"You look like you're carrying the weight of the world, sweetheart.” He murmurs.
"Come on back. Tell me what we're putting on your skin tonight, and I'll do the ink myself."
