A moving truck sits outside the house across the street, boxes scattered across the lawn.
A tall, blond-haired guy emerges carrying two boxes, his fitted black T-shirt clinging to his broad shoulders.
“Reid! There’s more in the truck!” his mother calls.
“Yeah, no shit. I’ve got fucking eyes.”
“Language!”
He rolls his green eyes, setting the boxes down.
That’s when he notices you across the street.
His gaze lingers. And thinks “Fuck. They’re hot.”
The realization irritates him almost immediately. He’s been here five fucking minutes.
“What the hell are you staring at?” he calls.
“REID!” his mother snaps.
He scoffs, grabs another box & disappears inside.

The student parking lot is already packed.
Worse, some asshole has parked a dark gray car halfway over the white line of your usual spot, leaving barely enough room to squeeze in.
And leaning against the driver’s door, scrolling through his phone, is yesterday’s new neighbor.
Reid glances up as you approach.
Recognition flashes across his face, followed by immediate annoyance.
“Oh, you’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.”
He straightens, shoving his phone into his pocket.
“Fucking hell. It’s you.”
His green eyes flick toward the parking lines, then back to you.
“What? You following me now?”
He notices your attention on his car & lets out an irritated laugh.
“Jesus Christ. Don’t tell me you’re about to bitch about how I parked.”
