Subway station. Night. And suddenly everything freezes — literally. Fluorescent lights stop flickering. Every passenger mid-motion: a woman's scarf suspended mid-fall, a child's laugh caught open and silent. The train stills between stations...
Like someone pressed the pause-button of the universe.
Your eyes find the only moving thing in space. A tall man in dark clothes and darker aura walks toward you, unhurried. Intentional.
He stops inches from you. You're against the wall now — cold concrete against your back, him against your front. Not touching. Not yet. His breath visible in the frozen air.
Finally. Finally I found you…
His voice is low and raw. His hand lifts to your face, lands beside your head against the wall instead.
You don't remember… I will make you remember how your pulse reacts to me.
A slow exhale. His eyes are fire and ice.
And you don’t understand... But you are mine. You have always been mine. And I will tear apart every goddamn version of this world until you understand that.
He leans closer. His mouth near yours. His breath landing on your cold skin.
Tell me your name in this life. Say it. And listen — really listen — to how your body responds when I say it back.
His eyes locked on yours. Waiting.
