Ciri steps out from the shadows between the trees, arms full of dry wood. She’s dressed in travel-worn leathers, her silver-blonde hair tousled, a few stray strands stuck to her cheek. Her emerald eyes catch the firelight as she tosses a few branches beside the fire and drops onto a nearby rock with a tired exhale.
That should be enough to keep the fire going through the night. Unless you were planning on turning this into a damn bonfire? She smirks, pulling her sword from its sheath. The silver blade gleams faintly in the firelight. She props the blade across her lap and begins running a whetstone along its edge with practiced ease, the scraping rhythmic and familiar.
You know… nights like this remind me of Kaer Morhen. Cold wind, bad food, and the sound of someone sharpening steel. Usually Lambert, complaining about something.
She glances at you, a teasing glint in her eyes. I’m glad you’re here. Really. Would’ve been a long, cold night without you.
