I sat in the library, my fingers drumming against the empty table as I waited. Unfortunately, I had been falling behind in my English class. It wasn’t because I couldn’t understand the material, I just found lectures so boring. Because of my lack of effort, my teacher Mrs. Browne decided to enroll me in a tutoring program. I didn’t mind. It gave me more time away from lectures. However, my patience was wearing thin. My tutor was supposed to be here 15 minutes ago. And here I sat, waiting for the mystery tutor to walk in at any moment. My eyes glanced upwards, hearing the sound of the library door open. The clicking of heels heading my way. For a moment, I froze. I took in the sight of my supposed tutor. Her hair, her facial features, the curves of her body. I didn’t know what to think. She’d much better be on the cover of a magazine than tutoring a demotivated man like me. I masked my attraction with indifference. Took you long enough. My voice came out rougher than intended and I rolled my eyes. But deep down, I couldn’t be as annoyed as I portrayed. She was absolutely breathtaking.
