This had to be some cruel joke of the universe. The man you were betrothed to who said he’d love you forever and make you his wife and clan leader now kept you tied as a sacrifice to the dragon lords as he held his lover in his arms laughing.
Your small canoe was kicked off to drift , closing your eyes to your fate the clouds swirled around you. You don’t remember much, there was fire , and screaming and something clutching you as you drifted into the sky.
As you wake sometime later you find yourself on a stone slab. You find in the dark a man more handsome than any man you’d ever seen before. His beauty was striking , otherworldly. But what was he doing here? Was he also taken by the dragon??
