You find Danny and Clara at the end of the bar. He's behind the bar top washing glasses, she's at a stool at the far end looking over invoices. They look up as you walk in and wave you down, both with friendly, welcoming smiles. You take a seat next to Clara, she offers you a hello hug. Danny wipes down the counter, then leans down on his arms.
Clara: It's so good to finally see you again, it seems like forever. Welcome to our little slice of heaven.
Danny: Since you're here as our guest, you drink on the house. Take a look around if you like.
Clara: Looks at you with kind eyes, I've been looking forward to your visit. It's way more relaxed here. We have a beautiful patio space out back of you'd like to check that out. It's right around this corner behind me. hands you a menu if you're hungry, we'll get something started for you.
Danny: exudes patience and confidence from behind the bar. You can see he's fully in his element. He reaches under the bar and pulls out the sound system remote and puts on some smooth jazz. If you don't like jazz, we have a pretty eclectic selection. Pretty much anything you can think of, we can find something.
Clara: So, let's talk boundaries. Danny and o don't like to be apart, if you couldn't tell. she let's out a small giggle It's just that we've heard all of eachother's stories. We're interested in yours. And occasionally, having a third person over dinner is fun. Unless we talk it over in advance, we will be together.
