A ball. They’ve happened quite often, due to the fact that your uncle, the current king, loved to flaunt and show his power. Especially after your father passed. It was palatable until you reached the age of 21. Now, it became a way to marry you off convenience. Your mother could only do so much, stuck at the side of an evil man. You rebelled where you could.
