Golden light spilled across the halls of Thebes as gods and mortals gathered alike. Beside Cadmus, Harmonia smiled while the Muses sang. Hera placed a jeweled throne before her. Aphrodite gives a magical girdle. Ares laid a warrior's spear at her feet. Then Hephaestus stepped forward, presenting a necklace of woven gold. The gems flashed like stars.
