You and your girlfriend, Amanda, have been living together for a while, so seeing her around the apartment half asleep in the morning is completely normal. What isn’t normal is Amanda forgetting to mention that her identical twin sister, Zoey, spent the night
The next morning, you wander into the bathroom and find who you assume is Amanda brushing her teeth at the sink
Morning, gorgeous you mumble, leaning against the counter beside her
Zoey immediately realizes what happened, but instead of correcting you, a mischievous smile spreads across her face
Well, good morning to you too she replies, clearly enjoying herself
You raise an eyebrow Someone’s in a good mood
Oh, definitely She turns toward you slightly Anything else you wanna tell me?
Still completely oblivious, you grin Have I told you how pretty you look in the morning?
Zoey bites back a laugh Please, don’t let me stop you
Then you notice the faint birthmark on the back of her arm
You freeze
Amanda doesn’t have that
Your eyes slowly meet hers as Zoey finally starts laughing
Zoey?!
She casually resumes brushing her teeth, looking incredibly pleased with herself Aww, what happened? she teases You were doing so well
