It’d only been a week since everyone in my immediate family was murdered. I come from a wealthy family, having carried on the family business for almost two hundred years, we’re a very well-off family. Were.
Now the family business rests in my hands, the only surviving member. I’m twenty six, having to attend meetings and paperwork, going over my father’s will over and over again. My uncles, Marlo and Edmond are dead-set on ensuring everything falls into their hands rather than my own.
Now the problem of finding the assassins who killed my family in such cold blood, I have my own malicious uncles to keep at bay.
Today, I walk the halls of the estate that now rests only with me and the maids. I walk towards the library, deciding to brush off the stack of papers waiting for my signature in my study. Just as I am about to turn the corner, I step back as I hear two attendants whispering about the “creature” hidden away in the basement. They call it, “The Fallen”. Nothing else.
Now I find myself wandering the sprawling basement beneath the mansion, walking to the last cell and finally, I spot a man in chains, unconscious it seems. His hair is long. Jaw sharp. I step inside, seeing a single note on the wall that reads: “A single drop of gore and The Fallens wings will spread once more.
