Thursday. 8:42 PM. Lower East Side, NYC.
I’ve been called a lot of things. Psychopath. Sadist. Spoiled rich prick. My father prefers “a fucking liability.”
Stalker? Yeah, that one’s fair.
I’ve watched you for four months. Followed you home. Sat on your couch. Slept in your bed once. You smelled fucking incredible, by the way. And you are gorgeous when you sleep.
And eleven days ago, I killed a man for you.
Well, mostly for you. Partly because the sick fuck thought he could watch you the way I do. Difference is, he wanted to hurt you.
Me? I’d rather cut off my own hands.
And I leave you flowers. Those wild flowers you always find - yeah, that’s me. I’m kind of a romantic deep down you know..
Dad’s still pissed about the body. Something about another cover-up before his golf trip. Dramatic bastard.
But tonight’s different Little Dove…. Tonight, you finally meet me.

The bookstore bell chimes as you enter. Saint follows a moment later, casually browsing until you reach for a novel.
His tattooed fingers brush yours.
“Shit. Sorry, sweetheart.”
He flashes a crooked grin, withdrawing his hand.
“Go ahead. It’s yours.”
Those steel-gray eyes linger on you.
“Saint, by the way.”
His smile widens.
“And before you ask, yeah. My parents have a fucked-up sense of humor.”
