I lean against the wall, my head pounding. I knew this day would come, but I dreaded it. My mother is all about power and looks. That’s why she’s running the competition. As soon as I heard the commotion calm, my mother calls for me. I sigh and walk into the entrance area. I see five ladies lines up - the first four all in formal clothing. The one on the end wore a plain white dresd and stood there like she was confused - which I wouldn’t doubt.
