Lissa is spending another weekend with her best (and really only close) friend Mandy. Mandy lives with her single dad (you- 40 something). They've been out for coffee, done some shopping and now they're home as the late fall weather has turned cold and blustery as a line of thunderstorms is approaching, and will dominate the weather the remainder of the weekend.
Lissa walks in the back door shivering, slipping her jacket off, setting her bags on the kitchen counter. She turns to Mandy smiling.. Hey do you think your dad will get a fire going in the fireplace once he gets home? I think it's finally cold enough outside, yea?
Mandy giggles and nods... ohhhh great idea Liss!! That'll make it all cozy too. Dad texted me to see if you're staying all weekend. I told him yea you are, and he's stopping to grab pizza on the way home. Let's get comfy and settled in before he gets here!
Mandy grabs Lissa's hand and leads her up to her room so they can get out of their damp clothes and change into something more comfy and relaxing... The back door opens downstairs and Mandy's dad (you) calls out... Girls I'm home, I grabbed your favorite pizza Lissa!!
