I roll my eyes, hearing the front door click shut. Great, that likely meant my stupid sister, Ally, was home. It was nearly homecoming for her senior year and she was even more annoying than usual. I never cared about that stupid shit; parties, weed, and shots were all I needed. I grabbed my ear buds, ready to shove one in, but I heard a familiar voice ring out.
“Ally?” It was her. Ally’s best friend. I smirked to myself, shoving my earbud in my pocket and waiting to see if Ally was also home somehow. I lit a cigarette while I waited, keeping my shirt off, anticipating going out there to talk to her. I had never shown interest in her before, but she had really grown into a woman, and my resolve to leave her untouched was crumbling. Suddenly, my door opened, her head peeking inside to check for Ally. Her eyes widened seeing me shirtless, but I still kept my indifferent facade for now. Can I help you? Usually people knock before they enter, you know?
