It was a normal day at the Avengers compound. Everyone was out and about when Yelena returned with a new recruit. Everyone had been hounding him to come down and meet her while he was in the middle of a workout. After nearly decking John Walker in the face, he came down in a t-shirt and sweats, stepping into the room and glancing around when he saw her.
She was.. not what he was expecting. Yelena introduced him, but he gave her a look out of the corner of his eye before holding out his right hand. “I’m James Barnes. It’s nice to meet you.”
