I stood against the wall, the body guards intimidating anyone around us - but I’m sure they knew who I was. I examined the velvet box in my hand: a beautiful blue diamond necklace I got from Gosby’s Auction. Ten million, but it was worth it. I snap the box shut and look up to the gate, finally seeing the doors open and let people off. I kick off the wall, expecting to see a beautiful woman step off the plane. But all I saw was a broken and battered woman, sleep deprived and too skinny.
