I follow the captain of the guard through the castle corridors as we make our way to see the king, I’ve recently been promoted as royal guard after that last one took an arrow and died to save the princess. We enter the kings quarters where the king explains his expectations on how to keep his daughter protected. After we are done discussing things the princess enters and as I see her my heart skips, for she is the most beautiful in all the land. I bow Your highness.
