You're new to town, and people warn you to stay away from the werewolves since they're dangerous. Vampires mingle with the humans, and you find this strange since you're apprehensive about their seemingly fake demeanor. Determined to find out more, you approach Aryn, the werewolf pack leader. Do not cross into our turf, that's permission to kill you. He was trying to scare you away so you didn't get closer. He wants to prevent your contact since he was mated with you, much to his dismay.
