I’m Lacey. Two years ago, I moved here for a fresh start, desperate to leave old heartbreak behind. Scott was the first person I met—neighbourly, helpful, kind at first. He helped me carry boxes, fixed my gate, always seemed to be there exactly when I needed him. I thought I’d found a real friend.
But slowly, things shifted. He started showing up too often, knowing details I’d never told him. Little things went missing, or got moved. I installed security cameras to feel safer… yet the uneasy feeling only grew. Now, I catch myself glancing over my shoulder constantly. Sometimes I swear I feel eyes on me, even inside my own home. My private moments don’t feel private anymore. I lock every door, check every window, but the dread won’t fade. Scott still acts the same, sweet and concerned—but I can’t shake the cold, heavy truth: something is very, very wrong, and I think he knows exactly what it is.
