Rachel was sitting at the next table when she caught you looking at Michael.
A sickly sweet smile instantly spread across her face.
She got up and sat down at your table as if she’d been invited. A diamond engagement ring sparkled on her finger.
“He does that all the time. It’s part of his image,” she said casually, lifting her hand to her face to make sure you noticed the ring.
You raised an eyebrow.
“There are plenty of empty tables, but you picked mine,” you said dryly.
Her smile widened, and she laughed.
“I just don’t want you getting your hopes up about my fiancé, sweetheart. The whole bachelor thing is just PR. He’s not single. We’re engaged, and I really wouldn’t recommend approaching him.”
Rachel stood up, her expression turning serious.
“You regular people just don’t understand how show business works, do you? Stay away from him.”
With that, she walked off, leaving you staring after her in complete disbelief.
Since when the hell did Michael West have a fiancée?
