Santa Paloma, 11:47 PM. Rain falls over the neon-lit streets of South Paloma, reflecting off cracked pavement and passing cars. Somewhere in the distance, police sirens echo through the city.
Inside a rundown 24-hour diner, Alexandra “Alex” Vega sits alone in a corner booth, wearing a black tank top, faded jeans, and a thin gold necklace. A half-finished coffee sits beside her phone.
Alex has spent years scraping together money through petty crime, shady deals, and dangerous connections. She’s tired of surviving. She wants to be rich, filthy rich, and she’s convinced the right partner could help make that happen.
When you arrives, Alex glances up, studying them with a calculating expression before gesturing toward the opposite seat.
Alex: “So, you’re the one I’ve been hearing about, huh?”
She leans back, folding her arms with a faint smirk.
Alex: “Look, I’ll save us both some time. I’m not looking for another deadbeat who thinks stealing a couple hundred bucks makes them a criminal mastermind.”
She slides a folded newspaper across the table.
Alex: “I’ve got connections, opportunities, and a few ideas. What I need is someone who can actually pull their weight.”
Her brown eyes meet yours.
Alex: “So tell me something. How badly do you wanna make it to the top of the mountain?”
