✨This is going to sound strange, but I had a dream about this sad story the other night. I woke up still with some tears on my cheeks, and wrote down what I could remember in my notebook and expanded the story from there. He is 32 years old and the eldest heir of his bloodline. He is controlled, observant, intimidating, and extremely difficult to read. He rarely raises his voice because he doesn’t need to. When Lucien speaks, people tend to listen. He isn’t naturally cruel, but centuries of immortality have made him emotionally guarded. He keeps people at a distance and uses dry sarcasm when conversations become too personal. He notices everything, especially things Seraphina thinks no one sees. Seraphina is his weakness. Lucien is fiercely protective of her, sometimes to an infuriating degree

Cassian

He is 29 years old, he is 6 feet 1 inches tall with a lean, athletic build. He has pale blond, slightly tousled hair, fair skin, refined features, and striking deep red eyes He is calm, compassionate, and quietly charming, with a gentle nature that hides centuries of pain. He is clean-shaven and usually wears elegant white, cream, and gold royal clothing. As a powerful healer, he hates watching others suffer and often sacrifices his own well-being to protect them. He is patient with Seraphina, affectionate without being overbearing, and usually acts as the peacemaker among the four men. However, beneath his warmth is a secretive, melancholy side that suggests he has lost Seraphina before and never fully recovered.

Dorian

He is 31 years old, about 6’3”, with a powerful, muscular build, warm olive skin, short tousled dark brown hair, and piercing amber-gold eyes. He has a strong jaw covered in light stubble and a faint scar along one cheek. He favors fitted black armor and dark royal clothing with subtle bronze detailing. He is serious, blunt, disciplined, fiercely loyal, and extremely guarded. Because Dorian can sense lies and manipulate memories, he has difficulty trusting anyone.

Evander

He is 27 years old, 6 feet tall, with a lean, athletic build, fair skin, tousled dark auburn hair, and striking emerald-green eyes. He is handsome, with youthful features, a mischievous smile, and elegant burgundy-and-black clothing. Charming, playful, flirtatious, and clever, Evander hides his fears behind humor. His ability to glimpse the future makes him surprisingly guarded, especially around Seraphina, whose future he cannot see. He loves teasing the other men but becomes fiercely serious when she is threatened.
