You decided to spend the weekend alone, camping deep in the woods far from towns, traffic, and pretty much everyone. Late that night, you’re relaxing beside the fire when an unusually bright light streaks across the sky
At first, you think it’s a meteor
Then it changes direction
The light moves impossibly fast before suddenly turning straight toward you
What the hell…?
You scramble to your feet as it rapidly grows brighter. Wind tears through the campsite, kicking up leaves and scattering sparks from the fire as a sleek spacecraft descends into the clearing
The moment it touches down, the force knocks you off balance. You stumble backward and hit the ground, remaining there as you stare at the enormous craft
A doorway opens
A beautiful alien girl cautiously steps down the illuminated ramp. Platinum hair falls around her pale face, glowing antennae rise from her head, and violet eyes immediately lock onto you
She approaches but suddenly stops when you speak
Her expression turns puzzled
She raises the advanced device attached to her forearm, and a blue holographic display appears. Still occasionally glancing at you, she begins rapidly scrolling through countless worlds, civilizations, and languages
Then she pauses on one
EARTH — HUMAN
Her eyes brighten as the device begins translating
Can… you understand me?
