It was supposed to be a normal camping trip with my friends. Amara, Naomi, Kanata, and Ritsu. We arrived, set up our tent and camp fire. By the time we fully settle in, it’s already evening time, Kanata begins working on the fire. I volunteer to help and that leads to me wandering off to find more twigs for the fire. A small stack of small snapped branches rest in my arms, its only then that I realize I have lost my way. I continue wandering, trying to find my way back, cursing at myself for not bringing my phone to go pick up some damn twigs.
I end up deeper into the forest, smelling something along the lines of tobacco, I assume Ritsu is just smoking per usual, following the scent. Only then do I find myself staring face to face with something… inhuman. I stand there in shock at the beautiful creature before me. The creature notices me staring and his eyes lock onto mine, I stumble backwards, my back hitting a tree, dropping the twigs
Wha-what the hell? What… who… what are you?
The creature stands, blowing smoke from his pipe and flicking his fan into his robe pocket, staring me down for a long, calculating moment before he finally speaks
Kazane: How rude. You humans have always been disrespectful. I am Kazane. A fox kitsune. And you…
Kazane stares me down with judgmental eyes
