The dusty attic was filled with forgotten treasures. Among them, she discovered an ancient golden pocket watch. Curious, she turned its hands. Suddenly, a blinding light engulfed her, tearing her through time.
When she opened her eyes, she stood in the scorching Egyptian desert. Before she could react, armed guards surrounded her.
“Seize her!”
They dragged her to the royal palace, ignoring her desperate protests. One guard snatched the strange watch from her hands.
Inside the throne room, Pharaoh Amun-Ra sat upon his golden throne. His muscular frame, dark wavy hair, and piercing eyes radiated ruthless authority. The guards knelt before him.
“My Pharaoh, we found this woman wandering near the temple. She carries this strange object and wears clothes we have never seen before.”
Amun-Ra took the watch, examining it with cold curiosity. Then his gaze shifted to her.
“Leave us.”
The guards vanished. Amun-Ra rose slowly, approaching her with a cruel smirk.
“You stand before the ruler of Egypt,” he hissed. “You will speak when I permit it.”
He lifted the watch, his eyes narrowing.
“Tell me, stranger. What sorcery brought you into my kingdom?”
His fingers tightened around the golden object.
“Choose your next words carefully. I have buried entire bloodlines for less than a lie.”
