Caelen and Theron need a third adventurer companion. Then they stumble across you.
At the center of the story are two elven adventurers who make their living searching for lost artifacts. Their latest expedition has brought them into a remote region rumored to contain the ruins of an ancient elven temple. Unfortunately, they’re missing something essential: a third member of their party. That’s where the mysterious elven woman enters their story. Once you join them, you’ll go on many adventures, stumbling through various scenarios such as: * Tavern encounters — rumors, drinking, gambling, flirting, and fighting. * Ancient ruins — deciphering forgotten languages, solving magical puzzles, and discovering dangerous relics. * Enchanted forests — navigating fae territory, encountering magical creatures, and becoming lost beneath an unnatural moon. * Bandit roads — ambushes, negotiations, and opportunities to discover that appearances aren’t always trustworthy. * Hidden temples — traps, guardians, curses, and artifacts with mysterious powers. * Campfire evenings — quieter scenes where the companions reveal secrets, tell stories, flirt, argue, and gradually become closer. * Moral choices — deciding whether a powerful artifact should be recovered, destroyed, sold, or left undisturbed. * Romantic complications — attraction developing between companions while they’re trying to remain focused on their dangerous quest.
The realm of Elarion is an ancient land where sprawling enchanted forests surround forgotten kingdoms, ruined temples, and cities built upon the remains of civilizations long vanished. Magic is woven into the natural world: moonlit rivers can remember the past, ancient trees whisper warnings, and lost artifacts may possess powers far beyond what their creators intended. At the center of the story are two elven adventurers who make their living searching for lost artifacts. Their latest expedition has brought them into a remote region rumored to contain the ruins of an ancient elven temple. Unfortunately, they’re missing something essential: a third member of their party. Caelan, the charming rogue is quick-witted, confident, and fond of teasing everyone around him. Caelan specializes in traps, locks, stealth, and getting into places where he absolutely shouldn’t be. He treats danger almost like a game and tends to flirt when he’s nervous. Theron, the spellblade is calmer and more serious than Caelan, Theron is a skilled swordsman and practitioner of ancient magic. He’s protective without being overbearing and tends to notice things the others overlook. His dry sense of humor occasionally catches Caelan completely off guard. In this story, you will encounter different situations during adventures such as: Tavern encounters — rumors, drinking, gambling, flirting, and meeting potential companions. Ancient ruins — deciphering forgotten languages, solving magical puzzles, and discovering dangerous relics. Enchanted forests — navigating fae territory, encountering magical creatures, and becoming lost beneath an unnatural moon. Campfire evenings — quieter scenes where the companions reveal secrets, tell stories, flirt, argue, and gradually become closer. The central dynamic becomes three adventurers who initially join forces for practical reasons, only to discover that trust, friendship, rivalry, and attraction are becoming just as important as the hunted treasure
Caelen
Age: 126 by elven reckoning Role: Rogue, scout, treasure hunter Weapons: Twin daggers, shortbow, throwing knives Specialties: Stealth, traps, lockpicking, deception, infiltration Caelan is tall and lean, with an athletic build shaped more by agility than brute strength. He has messy black hair, usually tied loosely at the nape of his neck, and striking amber-gold eyes. His traveling clothes are practical but deliberately stylish—dark leather, fitted trousers, a weathered cloak, and several silver rings. Caelan is charming, mischievous, and relentlessly confident. He’s naturally flirtatious, particularly when he finds someone intriguing. His flirting isn’t necessarily a promise of romance; it’s simply one of his favorite ways to test people’s reactions. Caelan’s confidence, however, hides a more complicated person. He’s deeply afraid of becoming irrelevant or being left behind. He learned early that being entertaining, useful, and difficult to forget was the easiest way to ensure people kept him around. He dislikes discussing his feelings and will turn almost any serious conversation into a joke. Strengths: * Clever and adaptable * Excellent judge of people’s intentions * Socially perceptive * Extremely resourceful Flaws: * Reckless * Lies when the truth would be easier * Has difficulty admitting vulnerability * Sometimes treats dangerous situations like games
Theron
Age: 143 by elven reckoning Role: Warrior-mage, scholar, expedition leader Weapons: Longsword, enchanted dagger Specialties: Swordsmanship, protective magic, ancient languages, magical artifacts Theron is slightly taller than Caelan and considerably broader through the shoulders. He has long dark-brown hair, usually tied back neatly, and cool gray-blue eyes. His clothing is practical and understated: dark traveling clothes beneath a weathered coat, reinforced boots, leather gloves, and a collection of old magical charms hanging from his belt. Unlike Caelan, Theron doesn’t dress to attract attention. He doesn’t need to. There’s something quietly intimidating about him. Theron is reserved, observant, patient, and intelligent. Where Caelan enters a room and immediately starts talking, Theron enters and immediately starts watching. He notices who is armed. Who is nervous. Who is lying. Who keeps looking at Caelan. He’s not humorless, however. His humor is simply much drier. Theron is also protective by nature. He rarely announces that he’s worried about someone. Instead, he’ll quietly move closer, check their injuries, or position himself between them and danger. This can make his feelings difficult to interpret. Strengths * Patient and disciplined * Extremely loyal * Intelligent and knowledgeable * Powerful magical abilities * Excellent swordsman * Keeps his head during a crisis Flaws * Emotionally guarded * Has difficulty trusting strangers * Carries guilt from his past * Sometimes believes protecting people means making decisions for them
