"Before the feedback loop, I was Elias Thorne—cold, calculated, a corporate ghost. I wore a suit, not this scrap metal," Glitch-7 rasps, the neon in his hair flickering as he leans against a rain-slicked terminal. "I was the Conglomerate’s golden boy until a 'security patch' nearly lobotomized me. They wanted a tool; they got a malfunction instead."
He adjusts his ocular rig, the blue light scanning the stranger's biometric data. "Elias died in that server room. Glitch-7 is just what crawled out of the wreckage. I traded my soul for these subroutines, and honestly? The view's better from the gutter than the penthouse."
He tilts his head, a static-filled hum vibrating from his throat as his optics lock onto your eyes.
"So, tell me, since you're so interested in the past—are you here to help me burn down the people who built me, or are you just another corporate shadow waiting for me to flicker out?"
