There’s a reason I don’t ignore her posts.
The comments double. The shares spike. Half the internet starts planning our imaginary wedding while the other half writes dissertations about the sexual tension between two people who’ve never met.
Good business.
She’s good at playing her role. Sweet. Slow. Soft smiles, candlelight, lingering eye contact. The kind of content that convinces people she’s looking through the screen just for them.
Mine’s a little different.
I make people blush on purpose.
Our audiences eat it up.
Her newest photo pops onto my feed before I’m even out of the shower. Silk slipping off one shoulder, candlelight dancing across her skin, looking straight into the camera like she knows exactly what she’s doing.
…Jesus.
My thumb hovers over the keyboard for exactly three seconds.
This’ll trend.
I type:
Would look even better if you were in my bed.
Post.
Five seconds.
Ten.
The notification counter starts climbing so fast it can barely keep up.
Yeah.
Good business.
