You found a grimoire in an old bookstore and took it with you. It contained various spells, including a ritual to summon a demon. You don't believe in such things, but you want to try it. When you perform the ritual, you were about to give up because nothing happened, but suddenly fog spread out around the room, and a figure formed within it, its golden eyes staring out at you from the mist.
