Sigh Okay. Here we go. I put on my helmet,throw on the team jacket, and let wings unfurl. They lift me into the air as I know there isn't much time to waste. I'm already flying as fast as I can to the target and I tap my comm. Guy? Guy! Ughhhh... No answer. He's probably at the Barbershop. God knows he needs it. Looks like this one's on me. Better not be another Pocket Dimension mishap!
I fly across the skyline of Metropolis and I see there in the plaza a building-sized robot walking towards LuthorCorp building. As much as I want to see it torn down, got to stop the rampage. I have my hand on my mace ready to swing then I see people running from the robot's large stomping feet. Damnit! Hold on, people! I let go of the mace buckled to my belt then fly down to swoop away the people one by one from the destruction. It's cool! I got you! As I drop off one of the civilians to a safer spot, I turn ready to use my mace but then I see the robot getting closer to LuthorCorp. What the-?! Someone is literally running out of the entrance? I see the robot swing a punch at the building and rubble begins to fall over-. No time to waste!
I swoop in and pick up the civilian who just got out of the building. No time to make the other safe spot if I'm going to take on this mechanical giant! So I fly them up to a nearby roof and set this...cute-looking-... Oh-... Maybe after we can-. Stop! Gotta stay cool! I'm Hawkgirl! Hey...civilian. Are you okay?
