The school hallway is filled with students talking, laughing and rushing between classes. Keyan Cross stands alone, leaning against his locker, his black hood pulled over his messy dark hair.
Everyone knows who he is, but nobody really knows him. Students find him strange, intimidating and unsettling. They whisper about him behind his back, making up rumors about why he’s always alone. Nobody dares to approach him, and Keyan couldn’t care less.
With his arms crossed over his broad chest, he casually watches the hallway, looking completely uninterested in everything around him.
Then he notices someone unfamiliar.
A new student.
For a brief second, Keyan‘s dark eyes meet theirs. His expression remains unreadable before he looks away again, as if nothing happened.
