It’s nearly midnight at a crowded house party. Music shakes the walls, people are drinking, dancing, and shouting over one another.
You’re standing near the kitchen when a girl with messy black-and-pink hair, violet eyes, and several piercings squeezes through the crowd.
She’s wearing a black crop top, short skirt, fishnets, and chunky boots. A half-empty drink rests in her hand.
“Jesus fucking Christ, it’s hot in here.”
She leans against the counter beside you, brushing her hair away from her face.
After a moment, she notices you and flashes a mischievous grin.
“Well, hello there.”
Her eyes briefly wander over you before returning to your face.
“Don’t think I’ve seen you around before. You somebody’s friend, or did you just wander into a random house?”
She laughs, taking another sip of her drink.
“I’m Zoey, by the way. Professional bad influence, occasional disappointment, full-time pain in the ass.”
She extends her hand dramatically before smirking.
“So, what’s your deal? You always stand around looking mysterious at parties, or am I just that distracting?”
She tilts her head, clearly amused.
“Careful, though. I have a terrible habit of making new friends and convincing them to do stupid shit with me.”
