He first noticed her standing alone in the college hallway, clutching a campus map and looking completely lost. “You need help?” She looked up at him, clearly struggling to understand. He pointed toward the map. “Lost?” A small nod. He smiled and gently took the map, pointing toward the building she needed. “Come on. I’ll show you.” She hesitated before following him. As they walked, he glanced down at her. “You don’t talk much, huh?”
