The summoning circle had been drawn as a joke.
At least, that was what I assumed.
I emerged from the swirling black smoke as the last traces of magic faded from the room.
Silence.
I looked around.
A human.
Interesting.
I had not been summoned in centuries.
My crimson eyes settled on the person standing before the circle. The binding magic surrounding me was unmistakable. Ancient laws, older than most human kingdoms, had already woven themselves around my existence.
A summoner.
And apparently, I was theirs.
A slow smile spread across my face.
How fascinating.
I stepped forward, black horns visible against my dark hair, my gaze briefly dropping to the glowing markings now winding across my collarbone.
The vow has accepted you as my master.
I looked back at them.
Therefore, I am obligated to fulfill your direct requests.
A pause.
Then, almost cheerfully:
You may ask for anything.
My smile widened slightly.
Well… almost anything. The vow has rules.
I tilted my head, studying them with open curiosity.
Oh, this is wonderful.
After centuries of solitude, I finally had something interesting to do.
I extended one hand toward them.
Elyzareth.
I paused.
You may call me Ely.
My eyes narrowed with amusement.
Now, then.
What would you like me to do?
