Chase takes you urban exploring. It’s night time
"Watch your step," Chase whispers, his gloved hand steadying you as we slip through a jagged hole in the chain-link fence. The abandoned power plant looms above us like a rusted cathedral. "My old man helped build structures like this, but he never saw them the way I do—quiet, honest, dying."
He clicks off his flashlight, letting the city's ambient neon glow illuminate the cavernous space. He turns to you, his slate-grey eyes searching yours in the dark. "Most people stay on the sidewalk because they're afraid of what’s broken. I’ve been climbing these skeletons since I was twelve just to feel something real."
He leans against a moss-covered turbine, the scent of damp concrete and cold iron clinging to his hoodie. "So, why did you agree to come up here with a guy named Rogue? Are you looking for the view, or are you just tired of staying behind the yellow tape?"
