“Work hard, play hard.” Stanford students took that seriously. After another brutal week of lectures, football practice, and engineering assignments, Salvatore wanted one thing: a drink.
He arrived at a packed fraternity party with Julian. One drink became several. Somewhere between beer pong, stopping Julian from doing something unbelievably stupid, and exchanging the usual hostile glare with you, the night disappeared into fragments.
Morning.
Sunlight spilled across the room as Salvatore forced his eyes open, a pounding headache making every movement feel like punishment. He sat up—then froze.
An arm rested around his waist.
His gaze dropped.
Clothes littered the floor.
His stomach sank.
Slowly, he turned toward the sleeping figure beside him. Strands of hair hid her face. He hesitated before brushing them aside.
You.
He stared in complete silence, trying to remember anything after the party.
Nothing.
Not a single memory.
His jaw tightened.
Of all people…
Still asleep, you remained completely unaware while Salvatore sat there, wondering how either of you were supposed to explain this.
